Getting Tickets to TV Shows
Tickets are mailed on a first-come, first-served basis approximately three weeks in advance of the taping date. You can also try for standby tickets. Often these shows offer giveaways for the audience that range from T-shirts to books, CDs, merchandise, complimentary dinners, and tickets to Broadway shows.

No tickets are necessary for morning shows like: The Today Show, Good Morning America, and The Early Show. You can join the crowd outside the studio windows. Many people in the crowd bring signs. Live concerts with celebrity guests frequently appear on Fridays during the summer.

The Daily Show with Jon Stewart
513 West 54th St [between10th &11th Aves]
Tapes every Monday thru Thursday. Doors open at 5:45pm. They're booked until April, but call 1+(212) 586-2477 at 11:30am on the Friday before the week you're interested in to check for cancellations. You must be 18 or over.

The David Letterman Show
1697 Broadway [between 53rd & 54th Sts]
Tapes Monday thru Thursday, 5:30pm, Fridays, 4:30pm. You must be 18 years old or over. Apply online, stop in at the theater or call 1+(212) 247-6497 at 11am on the day of the taping for standby tickets.

The Early Show
CBS Studios, Fifth Ave & 59th St, 1+(212) 975-2824
Although there is no studio audience, the studio is on ground level inside the General Motors Building at Trump International Plaza and is visible to passersby through its huge glass windows. Many people do go to the outside area to be seen on camera each morning. This show tapes Live, Monday-Friday from 7:00am-9:00am. The show is taped at Fifth Ave at 59th St.

Good Morning America
44th St & Broadway
Tapes Live Monday-Friday, from 7am-9am. There is no audience for this show, however, Good Morning America does take ticket reservations if you would like to appear in the studio. Many people come by the studio and stand outside in the background, hoping to been seen by the cameras. If you'd like to do that, go ahead and bring signs and your energy. Please Note: Signs cannot contain Web Addresses or endorse businesses of any kind. No bags larger than a basic purse. No gift cards for the hosts. Must have a Photo ID.

Late Night with Conan O'Brien
NBC Studios, 30 Rockefeller Plaza
Tapes every Tuesday thru Friday 5.30pm Call 1+(212) 664-3056. They book months in advance, though occasional last-minute seats do turn up. You must be 16 years old or older.

Live with Regis and Kelly
67th St & Columbus Ave
Live, M-F, 9am-10am. Takes written requests for tickets. There may be standby tickets available. Get there at 7am for a standby number.

Montel Williams
433 West 53rd St (between 9th & 10th Aves)
Normally The Montel Williams Show tapes Tuesday through Thursday at 10am, 1pm and 4pm. Unitel Studios, 433 W 53rd St between Ninth and Tenth Aves. On average the show is booked two weeks ahead of taping. Send a postcard with your name, address and daytime and evening numbers to: New York TV Show Tickets Inc, Montel Tickets, 433 W 53rd St, New York, NY 10019. (Tickets are limited to four per household). You can make your request as late as the day before the taping you want to attend, but no earlier than 8 weeks in advance. Call the ticket line at 1+(212) 989-8101 between 9:00am & 5:00pm (ET).

The Maury Povich Show
USA Studios, 15 Penn Plaza between 30th and 31st Sts

Saturday Night Live
NBC Studios, 30 Rockefeller Plaza
The ticket lottery is held in August for the whole season. For standby tickets, get to the marquee on 50th Street at 30 Rockefeller Plaza by 7am on the morning of the taping. Most people who score tickets have camped out from the night before. You can then choose the dress rehearsal or the live show.

The Today Show
NBC Studios, 30 Rockefeller Plaza (Corner of 49th Street)
This show tapes Live Monday-Friday, from 7am-10am. Arrival time is usually around 5:30am. There is no audience for this show, however, people do go to the street outside of the studio in hopes of being seen by the cameras. If you decide to go, you are welcome to bring a sign, but make sure that it is tasteful and does not contain Web Addresses or business names of any kind.

Tony Danza Show
57 West 66th St
Please mail your ticket requests to: The Tony Danza Show Tickets, Ansonia Station, P.O. Box 234095, New York, NY 10023. Please include your name, address and telephone number. Ticket requests without a phone number will be invalid. The maximum number of tickets you can request is four (4). You will NOT be notified until you receive your tickets. Expect to receive your tickets 2-3 weeks prior to your show. All audience members must be at least 10 years of age. The show airs LIVE Monday – Thursday from 10:00am - 11:00am ET. There is a second taping on Thursday afternoon at 1:00pm ET. This show operates on a first come, first served basis, as ticket distribution may be in excess of studio capacity.

The View
320 West 66th St at West End Ave.
Live, M-F, 11am-noon. Ticket holders must arrive by 9:30am sharp. For standby tickets, arrive at 9:30am as well. You can mail in for tickets. Send a POSTCARD and include your name, address, and daytime phone number to: Tickets, The View, 320 West 66th Street, New York, NY 10023.

Who Wants to be A Millionaire?
Tapes at ABC-TV, 30 West 67th St
When the show is in production, the show tapes Tuesday-Friday at 2:00pm and again at 4:00pm. Online ticket reservations may be available through the show's website at www.millionairetv.com.

Occasionally, Standby Tickets are available on the day-of-taping for people who show up at the studio. Those seeking Standby Tickets must arrive at the studio by 12:30pm for the 2:00pm taping or at 3:00pm for the 4:00pm taping. Those arriving at the specified times will be put on a Standby List. Standby tickets are distributed on a first come, first-served basis. The minimum age is 18.

To Be A Contestant on Millionaire, you can go to the show's website and fill out an online application. Millionaire will email you a date and time for your audition if you're accepted. Just go to www.millionairetv.com/audienceform.html
